Our family took the opportunity to spend a rare Friday afternoon together. We had a nice lunch (In-N-out is nice, don't judge) then drove 30 minutes to a favorite man made lake with plenty of ducks, a walking path and a nice playground. I brought the camera, the nicer one, not just the pocket sized camera. Excited kids scrambled out of the car only to find all 3 of the gallon size bags of old waffles, hot dog buns and bread were still in the garage.
So I did the unthinkable. I left the camera in the car. My phone too. And just enjoyed my beautiful boys while we walked the lake and played at the park.
