I have finally given up on having the "perfectly" decorated matchy-matchy tree and embraced the "I have 4 boys who love to decorate" tree. That is why the entire back 1/3 of the tree has no ornaments, despite repeated reminders to cover it.
We have these tiny, stick like tress the boys enjoy putting in their rooms. I love that Sean and Brendan made Lego ornaments for it this year!

I didn't put anything on bottom 1/3 of tree in the back. No one sees it. i hae snowflakes like yours too
Thats what a family tree is all about! We never had a put together tree when we had kids doing it eiother. LOVE the lego tree!
