I was lucky enough to be a chaperon on Colin's field trip to a working farm. What a bunch of city kids we had with us! Their first thoughts "It stinks!". Yep kids, thousands of cows will do that to a city. But most of the kids did enjoy milking a cow, grooming horses, feeding a pig, petting goats (and letting goats nibble on things like their hair) and touring a vegetable garden. But their favorite thing, the thing that made them all giggle in hysterics.... cats. Oh and a kitten. Good thing we rode on a bus for almost 2 hours today kiddos.
