Now that we have lived here for almost a year I have decided I have spent far too much time driving to our old 'stomping grounds' and that includes the beach. There is no reason to drive 30 minutes to an hour out of my way just to go to a beach I am familiar with. So yesterday I packed up the kids and we went with friends to a beach that's new to me and best of all was only an hour from our door to the shore. We all had a great time and the kids could have lasted hours after I drug them home.

wish I lived closer to the beach I would be there alot.
