The class cupcakes

There is nothing more annoying than spending several hours baking, making a mess of your kitchen. Hand rolling fondant, making vanilla butter cream frosting from scratch, and punching out tiny little letter B's and S's
Putting time, money and effort into creating beautiful homemade personalized cupcakes for a class of 20 second graders and their teacher. Using ingredients purchased just for these one-of-a-kind creations and having traveled far south (ok it was only about 20 miles, but still out of my way) in search for cake decorating items that can not be found in local stores.

Only to take them to the school (with a child who should be napping), in your new cupcake carrier (bought just for the occasion) to be told that you can only bring in store bought food to share with the class.

That's disgusting.

Happy Birthday S&B . The rest of the birthday looks great in the slide show though. :)

But they were so yummy to those of us that got to eat them later! And I finally got to eat one of your delicious creations that you're always blogging about!
