Our summer vacation is coming to a close. The older 2 go back to school next week and while it seems we lead a busy life, a new school year will bring new meaning to the word busy. I did not request the boys to be in the same classroom this year and I can only imagine the new work having two separate classes will bring. So here is our week in pictures and no, this doesn't include the many play dates, and other 'normal' stuff that goes on around here!
Monday we went to see Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium with my mom. After the movie we spent some time building aliens out of play dough and swimming in her pool.
Monday night was another evening in the park with our ward. The kids seemed to have fun with their friends, but we were hot! It has been in the 90's all week.
Tuesday we ventured to the Ruben H Fleet science center in San Diego. My friends convinced me that it was a free entry day and that the crowd would be worth it. Um, no. Never again will I go on a free day. It would have been so worth my time to pay for admission! I know my boys would have loved it had it not been so crowded. This first picture is the boys waiting in line for 20+ min just to get in.
Wednesday we drove into our old neighborhood in Orange County to go back to the water park.
I like this photo below, Colin's hair gets so crazy when it's wet and full of sunscreen!
Wednesday night we went to the watch the Storm play. Finn made it a long game, but he's going to have to get used to MANY nights at the stadium in this family!
Today we had 3 different play dates, a trip to the pool and a few kids painted new treasure boxes (camouflaged for Colin, of course).
That's about all the interesting things for us this week, so far. Aaron starts working from home on Friday's tomorrow. We'll see how much work gets done. Oh and Finn woke up with pink eye today, let the fun with eye drops begin!!!
